back to the Tower of Babel

A Letter from Rabbi Pinchos Friedman,
Founder of Olam Hachessed

Within the last several years tragedies, both great and small, have befallen communities worldwide: tsunamis, hurricanes, fires, and terrorism. Children lost parents. Spouses have bidden farewell to their loved ones. Families have been torn apart. Seniors are without homes. And worst of all, parents have laid their children to rest. A dark curtain of hopelessness has spread itself. Yet, glimpses of light have peered through the openings. And one of those rays of hope has been Olam Hachessed.

Olam Hachessed
is a charitable foundation that raises monies for all those in need. We are continuing the tradition of Abraham's Kindness Crew - that crew of dedicated individuals who turn the darkness into light. In the past several years Olam Hachessed has mended the broken hearts of orphans, comforted widows and widowers, united families, brought shelter to the aged and infirm, and returned hope to brokenhearted parents.

But still, there is so much to be done; so much to be repaired, so much to be rectified. With each act of kindness the dark curtain of sorrow is pulled back.

And so, on behalf of all our brothers and sisters, young and old, I ask you to join the Kindness Crew and please donate generously until we, once and for all, pull down the dark curtain and let the light cover the Earth, worldwide, forever.

Thank You and All the Best,
Pinchos Friedman
